Charitable giving is an important part of Judaism, and Congregation Mount Sinai depends on your generosity to support our programs and facilities as we strive to nurture a diverse community.
The synagogue’s financial base is built on several parts: annual membership contributions (which are among the lowest in the neighborhood and cover approximately 25% of our operating budget), high holiday ticket sales, our annual Habonim/Nedivim/Chaverim high holiday appeal, offerings for celebrations, sponsorship of kiddushes, anniversary and birthday acknowledgements, and other various life cycle events and celebrations.
As all nonprofit organizations, we do not sustain ourselves only by dues; we depend on the commitment of community members, through donations and gifts of time, to keep our shul vital and functioning. Your tzedakah is an act of profound selflessness and helps us meet the needs of our growing community. Thank you in advance for your support.
